Today we had a comprehension task for The Mine's Afire. We just read the bit in the book when the explosion happened. I think the book is good so far.

This is our comprehension task for the mines afire. It was about comparing Tommy's life to our life.

The mines afire.
For The last couple of days we have been working on this activity. I liked that it was something that we are lucky enough to go see soon. It was a fun task to do it wasn't to hard. The Brunner mine disaster happened in the 1890's.
